Projector Central News & Reviews
When consumers need
information on how Projectors or Screens compare or where to buy them
from one of the most popular and reliable websites is Projector Central
- http://www.projectorcentral.com -
Recently Projector
Central has published a couple of very interesting articles, one
searching for "5 Screens Under $500" and another one on how inexpensive
1080p projectors have become - and will continue to become.
In the first article -
5 Screens Under
$500 - Projector Central finds Screen Goo's Reference White coating as a
"virtual match" to their Reference Screen, a Stewart Studiotek 130 and
concluded that:
"When Goo Systems came out with its outstanding paint product several
years ago, there were no significant competitive alternatives for really
good screens under $500. DIY folks who relish the process of creating
their own solutions from scratch were given a great opportunity to
produce screens that virtually matched Stewart products in color
neutrality for a fraction of the price."
The second article
provides insight on how a consumer today can put together a fabulous
120" diagonal home theater for about $2,500, substantially lower than it
would cost to purchase a similar size plasma TV. The article concludes:
"Here
is a fact: Today you can get a beautiful 1080p projector and a
high quality 120" diagonal screen for as little as $2,500 for the total
package. That means you can get a picture four times the size of a
60" plasma TV, and you can get it for half the price of the
cheapest 1080p 60" plasma TV on the market today."
